We are pleased to announce the release of SD Notary 1.4. SD Notary is a tool for notarizing AppleScript and Automator apps. Please see this blog post for more information.
This update can be applied using SD Notary’s Check For Updates command (in the SD Notary menu). Alternatively, you can download the latest version from the blog post linked above.
Version 1.4 Changes:
Fixes issue where the
submit app
scripting command was not returning.Fixes issue where unsigned .pkg files is falsely judged to be signed.
Yet another attempt to fix the issue where closing a document via script could result in false busy alert.
Sometimes Apple’s servers respond to checks for status incorrectly. Typically this involves an error number 239, and the servers eventually correct themselves, although sometimes up to several hours later. If such an error occurs, SD Notary will keep re-checking about once a minute, rather than return an error. The maximum number of retries is 1000, but this can be changed via scripting, through the application’s
known error retry limit
property. The minimum number of attempts is 3.
